3. Gemstone Stringing Basics (Necklace or Bracelet)

This class is perfect if you’ve been eyeing all the gemstone strands on the wall and wondering where to start. We’ll cover the basics of stringing on beading wire and finishing your piece with crimps and a clasp.

  • How to cut and prepare beading wire
  • How to use crimps and crimping pliers to securely finish your piece
  • Simple tips for sizing and layout so your jewelry sits well when worn

You’ll leave with:

  • One finished gemstone bracelet or a simple necklace (depending on what you choose)
  • A better feel for which stringing materials to use for which projects
  • Confidence to use gemstone strands in your own designs

Includes:
Use of tools, beading wire, crimps, and basic metal spacers. Gemstone strands and specialty beads can be selected and purchased separately during class, so you can choose exactly the look and budget you want.
