A handcrafted Australian boulder opal pendant set in solid 925 sterling silver, with an optional 20 inch sterling silver chain.
This pendant features a narrow rectangular Australian boulder opal measuring approximately 25 x 10mm. The stone has a dramatic dark matrix with flashes of green, teal, blue and violet that shift beautifully as the light moves across the surface.
Boulder opal is especially distinctive because fragments of the surrounding host rock become part of the finished gem, creating natural contrast between the opal color and the darker matrix.
The opal is set in a handcrafted sterling silver frame with a textured, prong-like border that gives the pendant an organic artisan feel. The sterling silver setting has a bright hand-finished surface that contrasts beautifully with the dark, colorful opal.
